Senior officials of the Palestinian Hamas and Islamic Jihad resistance movements have warned the Zionist regime against any ground invasion of the southern Gaza city of Rafah, saying such assault will be met with a strong and decisive response.

Speaking in a meeting with the Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh on Friday evening, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi thanked him for his hopeful vision on the liberation of al-Quds and the end of the occupation of Palestine and said, "Operation Al-Quds Sword was one of the signs of the victory of the resistance movement”.
