We urge US, Europe to return to their promises in JCPOA

Speaking in a cabinet session on Wednesday Dr Hassan Rouhani said, "Martyr Beheshti is the best model for the judiciary".
Stating that Martyr Beheshti used to favour collective work, he said, "One of the flaws that we have in our society is that we work well individually, but we face some problems when there is need to work collectively".
He continued, "If it were not for Martyr Beheshti, our country's Constitution would not be this much orderly".
"One of the greatest things that he did was establishing the modern judicial system after the Islamic Revolution," said the President.
Dr Rouhani also added, "Martyr Beheshti did not let factional, partisan, racial and religious issues to interfere in the Judicial Branch".
He continued, "Independence of the judiciary and judges is very important for us. Judicial independence is the most important principle of justice and securing people's rights," adding that no authority has the right to interfere in the judge's verdict.
"Society's security is ensured by the judiciary, and investment, business environment, economic growth and people's rights are ensured through the judiciary," said Rouhani.
Emphasising that, "We cannot try people by tapping", he said, "We have approved in the Supreme National Security Council that tapping can only be done in dealing with organised crimes such as terrorism and drug trafficking".
He also said that Imam Khomeini (RA) dismissed two high-ranking judges because of judging based on tapped information. Imam Khomeini was very sensitive about these issues and did not let such things happen".
Referring to the United States' anti-Iranian policies and said, "These days, I see the White House in a confusion and we are witnessing ridiculous talks and the policy of scandal".
There is no sanction left to impose, said Rouhani, adding, "With its recent sanctions the United States' political system proved that it cannot understand religious issues".
"President of the United States is not familiar with the beliefs of Muslims and spiritual leaders; its claims are baseless and this action made the reality clear for our people," he said.
The President continued, "Some would say that the Americans want to negotiate without any preconditions, but Americans themselves proved that all these are baseless and lies".
"They sent the respectful Prime Minister of a respectful country to Iran for exchanging messages, simultaneously announcing new petrochemical sanctions," he said.
Dr Rouhani also said, "While the Japanese Prime Minister was negotiating in Iran, America announced a new sanction; this was the best way to show that they were not honest and they are playing".
On claims by the American President about concerns about Iran reaching atomic weapons, the President said, "Are you really concerned about nuclear weapons? If so, why don't you say a word about Israel, which is a usurper and storing a lot of nuclear weapons? Are you really concerned about nuclear weapons? Don't you know that the IAEA is doing its inspections in Iran and we are acting based on NPT?"
"Are you really concerned about nuclear weapons? Haven't you heard anything about the Supreme Leader's fatwa prohibiting nuclear weapons? So, both your claims and way of talking are baseless," he said.
Referring to the downing of an intruding American drone with domestically-made defence systems, Dr Rouhani said, "This means that we are capable of building defence systems, while finding a 23-mm cannon and an Oerlikon was very hard for us during the 8-year war with Iraq".
"This shows our power and the fact that we only defend ourselves. We do not want war and conflict in the region, but we will not let our country be subjected to acts of aggression. Our borders are our red line," said Rouhani.
He continued, "We recommend the Americans to change the wrong way that they have chosen, and we tell Europeans that your inaction towards the JCPOA. We urge them to return to their promises and commitments".
President Rouhani also said, "This is for the good of you, us, the region, law, and international institutions and the non-proliferation system".
